Preparatory visit for a project in Québec

The Émérillon Fund is designed to support emerging Franco-Québécois cooperation initiatives that arise mid-cycle, outside the official application period for calls for projects (notably the Samuel de Champlain program). However, collaborative projects must align with the priority themes of the calls and meet their eligibility criteria. Researchers who receive Émérillon funding commit to submitting a project to the Samuel de Champlain program during the biennium. The Émérillon Fund supports research trips to Québec by French researchers. Travel expenses and per diem for five days are covered.

Visiting the CRM-CNRS

Stay Between Six Months and One Year Researchers and faculty members affiliated with a Joint Research Unit (UMR) under the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences and their Interactions (Insmi) have the opportunity to undertake a medium- or long-term stay abroad, within an International Research Laboratory (IRL), notably at the CRM-CNRS in Montreal. To ensure optimal planning of the stay, it is essential to get in touch at an early stage — ideally even before submitting your application — with the Deputy Scientific Director of Insmi responsible for international affairs, for an informal discussion about the proposed project.
