Invited Professor in Optimization, Operations Research, and Data Science

Deadline: April 30, 2026. The Jacques Hadamard Mathematical Foundation offers invitation grants for professors in the fields of optimization, operations research, and data science. The invited person must be hosted by a laboratory in the Paris-Saclay region. They will need to participate in certain events of the Gaspard Monge program (such as a seminar) and give an advanced course in optimization at one of the institutions on the Saclay plateau. The target audience may include students from the optimization master’s program at Paris-Saclay or from the Hadamard doctoral school.

Doctoral and Postdoctoral Mobility from Quebec to France

Deadline: April 24, 2026. The Consulate General of France in Quebec is partnering with the FRQ and is opening the annual call for applications for the Quebec - France Sophie Germain 2026 mobility scholarships. This program promotes the mobility of doctoral and postdoctoral students from Quebec to France. The awarded scholarships support research stays of a minimum of one month in organizations and institutions in France. The scholarship amount is 3,000 CAD. This amount is intended to cover travel and accommodation expenses. This scholarship can be combined with other funding.

Cirm-CRM Agreement: Small Group Research Stays

Deadline: 15 April 2026. The Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (Cirm, Marseille, France) and the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM, Montréal, Québec, Canada) have partnered to offer: all mathematicians working in France; all mathematicians whose university is a CRM partner, the opportunity to gather as a team to conduct research, including a stay at Cirm and a stay at CRM. International Theses in IRLs

Deadline: March 20, 2026. The National Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Their Interactions will fund a small number of CNRS theses. Description This is funding for a doctoral student, registered in France, with a thesis supervisor employed in a UMR or a laboratory linked to a FR federation. There must be an existing link with an IRL through co-supervision or simply the identification of a partner in the IRL on the thesis topic, who could host the doctoral student for a period of at least three months during the course of the thesis (this through stays each year).

FRQ support: research internship in France for students

Deadline : 10 January 2026. Students supervised by a member of the CRM (or one of its laboratories) who are enrolled in a 2nd or 3rd cycle program at a Quebec university are eligible for FRQ research internship grants in France. The application must include a description of the work to be carried out during the internship, a curriculum vitae and a recent transcript of the candidate’s grades, a letter of recommendation signed by the thesis or dissertation supervisor, a letter signed by the internship supervisor specifying the start and end dates of the internship internship must be submitted so that the internship begins at least 2 months and no more than 9 months after the application deadline.
