Since 2011, the CNRS has been linked to the Centre de recherches mathématiques via an international research laboratory (IRL CRM-CNRS) renewed in 2025 for the third time.

The CRM is a multi-site laboratory, divided between six institutional partners:

and two academic partners:

Exchange from France to CRM

Long-term (minimum six months): CNRS assignments and delegations

CNRS researchers from CNRS laboratories in France can be assigned to the CRM. After obtaining a CNRS delegation, tenured teacher-researchers can also be assigned to the MCRM.

FRQ support for CRM-CNRS laboratories

This program enables mathematicians working in France and students from French universities to spend time in France.

FRQ support for the CRM-CNRS laboratory

The CRM receives support from the FRQNT as part of the agreement establishing the CRM as a CNRS IRL. This support enables the CRM to offer its scientific members and students the possibility of short or medium-term stays in France.

Medium-term (three months): CNRS postes rouges.

The postes rouges red posts program offers mathematicians working in an institution outside France the opportunity to spend three months in a laboratory in France between February 1, 2025 and November 30, 2025.
