Funding of new collaborations

A consortium of twenty-three Canadian universities and the French Embassy in Canada have joined forces to fund new collaborations.
Selected teams shall be awarded grants ranging from CAD 8,000 to CAD 15,000, mainly to finance the mobility of researchers and students between the two countries.
Applications
The project presented must involve only people who have never worked together (no co-publication, no co-organization, no co-supervision…). It must include master’s and doctoral students, but be presented by a researcher with a permanent position.
Applications must be sent to the FFCR correspondent at the Canadian partner institution, whose contact details can be found in the Guide for project applicants.
Timetable
- Call for projects opens: September 9, 2024
- Deadline for submission of electronic files to Canadian universities: November 18, 2024 (Please note: universities may require a tighter timetable; please inquire locally)
- Executive Committee meeting and project selection: May 2025
