The EU–UdeM Partnership Grants aim to strengthen research engagement with universities in the European Union. They encourage collaborations across all academic disciplines that may lead to research projects funded by external sources (such as the Horizon Europe program, or federal and provincial Canadian funds with an international component).

These grants will support researchers in the following ways:

  • Fostering international networking (e.g., meetings with partners)
  • Structuring teams and strengthening collaboration networks with a view to securing external funding

Funding is intended to cover costs associated with visits by participants from the Université de Montréal and the partner university, including: Travel expenses, accommodation and meal costs, organization of networking activities, and salaries/fees supporting the development and implementation of the project.
