PIMS: Long-term Research Stays in France for PIMS Members

Scientists from PIMS member institutions are eligible for fellowships for a medium-term stay (2 months or longer) in a French laboratory.

The application must include:

• A focused overview of the planned research activity, including locations and collaborators based in France (up to 5 pages);
• A letter of support from the proposed host institution in France;
• A letter from the applicant’s department head supporting the proposed visit. This letter must specify the duration of the stay in France. For stays covering part of the academic year, the department must commit to providing teaching release for the planned duration of the visit.

It must be sent to the PIMS Director (director@pims.math.ca) by September 30th each year for stays beginning the following calendar year.
