General description

The Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris offers to help organize and fund small group work sessions to develop or finalize a scientific project.

Two types of collaborative research projects are possible:

  • Academic
  • Academic and private (between researchers and the private sector)

The Institut Henri Poincaré provides workspaces in the 5th arrondissement of Paris and can offer financial support for accommodation.

Application file composition

The application file, with a maximum length of two pages, must include:

  • The scientific title of the project;
  • The names of the participants, their email addresses, and their affiliated institution or company;
  • A research project with scientifically motivated objectives;
  • The requested period, with a duration of one to six weeks maximum (the institute is closed in August);
  • The reasons why the Institut Henri Poincaré would provide an appropriate framework for your project;
  • A detailed budget estimate.

Schedule

The call for projects is recurring. Applications must be submitted by:

  • May 15 of year N for programs scheduled between January and June of year N+1;
  • October 15 of year N for programs scheduled between July and December of year N+1.
