The Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (Cirm, Marseille, France) and the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM, Montréal, Québec, Canada) have partnered to offer:

  • all mathematicians working in France;
  • all mathematicians whose university is a CRM partner,

the opportunity to gather as a team to conduct research, including a stay at Cirm and a stay at CRM.

Each team must consist of one or two individuals working in France and one or two individuals whose university is a CRM partner.

Both stays (one at Cirm, one at CRM) last one to two weeks and must take place within an 18-month period.

The application file must include:

  • a CV for each team member;
  • a short summary of the research project (approximately two pages), including the proposed dates for the stays.

The proposal must be submitted to crmfrance@crm.umontreal.ca and colloque@cirm-math.fr by one team member, who will act as the project coordinator.

This call is recurring, with the following annual deadlines:

  • June 15 for programs starting from October 15;
  • December 15 for programs starting from April 15.
