Cirm-CNRS Agreement: Small Group Research Stays
The Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (Cirm, Marseille, France) and the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM, Montreal, Quebec, Canada) have joined forces to offer:
- all mathematicians working in France;
- all mathematicians whose university is a CRM partner,
the opportunity to form a team and carry out a research project that includes a stay at Cirm and a stay at CRM.
Each team must consist of one or two members based in France and one or two members affiliated with a CRM partner university.
The two stays (one at Cirm and one at CRM) should each last between one and two weeks, and must take place within an 18-month period.
The application file must include:
- a CV for each team member;
- a short research proposal (approximately two pages), including the proposed dates for the stays.
Applications must be submitted by one of the team members (who will act as project coordinator) to both crmfrance@crm.umontreal.ca and colloque@cirm-math.fr.
This call is recurring, with the following annual deadlines:
- June 15 for programs starting from October 15;
- December 15 for programs starting from April 15.
