Cirm-CNRS Agreement: Small Group Research Stays
The Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (Cirm, Marseille, France) and the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM, Montreal, Quebec, Canada) have partnered to offer:
- to all mathematicians working in France;
- to all mathematicians whose university is a CRM partner institution,
the opportunity to form a team to carry out a research project, including a stay at Cirm and a stay at CRM.
Each team must include one or two people working in France and one or two people affiliated with a CRM partner institution.
The two stays (one at Cirm, one at CRM) should each last from one to two weeks and must take place within an 18-month period.
The application must include:
- a CV for each team member;
- a short summary of the research project (approximately two pages), including the proposed dates of the stays.
The proposal must be submitted to crmfrance@crm.umontreal.ca and colloque@cirm-math.fr by one team member, who will act as the coordinator of the project.
This call is recurring, with the following deadlines each year:
- June 15 for programs starting on or after October 15;
- December 15 for programs starting on or after April 15.
